Part-Time Paraprofessional OT Student Supervision

Hours: Up to 10 hours per week
Classification: Part-Time, Non-Exempt

Regular Schedule:

  • Wednesday: 8:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m. (6 hours)
  • Thursday: 11:00 a.m. 3:00 p.m. (4 hours)

Position Summary

The District is seeking a part-time Paraprofessional to provide student supervision and support during Occupational Therapy (OT) services. This position is limited to 10 hours or less per week and is specifically assigned to OT student supervision.

Essential Duties

  • Supervises students during scheduled OT services.
  • Ensures a safe and appropriate environment for students while under supervision.
  • Supports student transitions to and from scheduled OT services, as needed.
  • Maintains appropriate student confidentiality and professional conduct.
  • Follows District policies, procedures, and safety requirements related to student supervision.

Minimum Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following:

  • Associate's degree; or
  • Two years of study or 60 credit hours at an accredited institution of higher education; or
  • Passing score on an ADE-approved assessment, such as the ETS ParaPro Assessment.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid Arizona Department of Public Safety Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card
