BPR Consulting Group (www.bpr-grp.com) is seeking an experienced OSHPD Certified Inspector to join our growing company and support our healthcare construction clients.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to work independently, communicate clearly, and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, contractors, design teams, and colleagues. Essential Duties:

The essential duties noted below are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, functions, and skills. They represent a summary of key job duties and expectations.

  • Perform OSHPD/HCAI field inspections for healthcare facilities during all phases of construction to verify compliance with applicable codes, approved plans, and OSHPD/HCAI requirements.

  • Maintain detailed inspection reports, daily logs, and documentation in accordance with OSHPD/HCAI standards.

  • Monitor contractor activities to ensure materials, procedures, and workmanship meet regulatory and project specifications.

  • Issue written correction notices and communicate findings effectively with project teams.

  • Attend project meetings as needed and collaborate with OSHPD/HCAI officials and design professionals.

  • Perform all work in alignment with BPR's and clients' policies, procedures, and high standards of service.

  • Provide services in an efficient, proactive, and client-focused manner.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Three (3)+ years of experience as an OSHPD/HCAI Inspector of Record (IOR) or similar role involving healthcare construction oversight.

  • Experience interpreting and applying California Building Codes, Title 24, and OSHPD/HCAI requirements.

  • Excellent communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Good driving record and reliable transportation.

Certification Requirements:
  • OSHPD/HCAI Inspector of Record (IOR) Certification Class A, B, or C (Class A preferred).

  • Additional ICC certifications are a plus (Building, Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing).

Compensation:

BPR Consulting Group offers competitive wages and strong benefit offerings. Pay range for this role is between $45$85 per hour, depending on experience, certification level, and project assignment.
