Job Description:

As an Orthodontist at Children's Dental FunZone, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to transform grins into masterpieces with your orthodontic prowess. We believe in making orthodontic experiences as fun as they are effective, and we need your magic touch to make it happen. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in orthodontics with a focus on treating children and adults. This individual will work collaboratively with our team of dedicated professionals to provide personalized and effective orthodontic treatment to our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough orthodontic assessments for pediatric patients.
  • Develop and implement customized treatment plans.
  • Provide orthodontic consultations to parents and guardians.
  • Collaborate with other dental professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in pediatric orthodontics through ongoing education.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
  • Doctor of Medical Dentistry (DMD) degree or a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. Active California Dental Board license.
  • Further studies in orthodontics are accredited by the American Dental Association (ADA).
  • Member of the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO).
  • In-depth knowledge of various molds and orthodontic appliances.
  • Experience using hand tools (periodontal scalers, band pluggers, cutters, pliers) and diagnostic tools (digital X-rays, 3D images).
  • Superb dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Outstanding patient management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type:
  • Part-Time 2 days a month- 4th Thursday and 2nd Saturday
  • Based Compensation
  • $1500- $1800 daily base + $100 starts and $50 Debands
