Job Title: Dental Assistant - Orthodontic Assistant

Position Summary:
Robinwood Dental Center's Diamond Plus Invisalign team is seeking a Dental Assistant - Orthodontic Assistant with Invisalign experience or a strong interest in supporting Invisalign orthodontic care. This position plays a key role in delivering an organized, efficient, and welcoming experience for orthodontic patients throughout their treatment journey.
Work Schedule:
• Monday - Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Friday: 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Work Location:
• Hagerstown office 4 days per week.
• Requires 1 day per week (Mondays) at the Middletown office.
• Flexibility to support both locations as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead new patients through orthodontic consultations.
• Assist patients with beginning their Invisalign treatment journey.
• Bond orthodontic attachments and buttons.
• Assist with periodic orthodontic progress checks.
• Support younger patients using orthodontic appliances, including rapid palatal expanders, sagittal appliances, and other early interceptive therapies.
• Accurately document patient care and treatment information in a timely manner.
• Attend required team and office meetings.
• Work independently with patients while contributing to a positive patient experience.
• Collaborate with orthodontic and dental team members to maintain efficient workflow and exceptional patient care.
Qualifications:
• Dental radiology certification preferred; must be willing to enroll in a radiology course if not certified.
• Experience assisting with Invisalign preferred.
• Qualified Dental Assistant Orthodontic licensure, or currently in process, preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive, professional, and dependable work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to support team members and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
Compensation:
• $20.00 - $27.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.
