OrthoColorado Hospital is Colorado's only orthopedic specialty hospital and is designed specifically for the orthopedic patient. Located on the St. Anthony Medical Campus, OrthoColorado Hospital is a joint venture between physician investors and CommonSpirit Mountain Region. Our state-of-the-art facility features a 48-bed inpatient unit, including six intermediate care beds and eight operating rooms. All members of our team from pre-operative care through recovery and our in-patient nurses are specialty trained in orthopedics. Our surgeons are renowned for their talent, knowledge and experience in their orthopedic specialties and subspecialties. Having a team with a focused background and years of experience allow our employees to provide an unprecedented level of care, resulting in the best outcomes and experience for our patients.
Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our Business Support II, you will perform comprehensive receptionist responsibilities, manage information requests, and maintain precise administrative operations while upholding department standards and delivering exceptional customer service.
Every day you will answer phones, receive visitors, direct information requests, answer routine operational questions, perform data entry and demographic verification, schedule patients, assist professional staff, retrieve/file medical records, and communicate collection/payment policies as appropriate.
To be successful in this role, you will possess strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail in data entry and record keeping, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing outstanding service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Provides administrative and customer or vendor services in assigned area. This may include performing business support functions and related administrative tasks to support a program or process
  • Corresponds with customers, patients, and vendors using defined formats and procedures, via verbal, electronic, and written communications.
  • Maintains records and/or files for assigned area. Ensures appropriate documentation is timely and accurately entered into departmental application.
  • As assigned, prepares, collates, and distributes various reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Works independently under general supervision.
  • May complete or handle recurring department projects or one-time projects, as directed by supervisor.

Job Requirements
Required
  • High School Diploma/G.E.D.
  • Two (2) years of administrative support experience.
