Job description

As an Enterprise Sales Executive at First Orion, you will drive new revenue by selling our Enrich RCS Messagingsolutions. You will be responsible for building a robust pipeline of enterprise prospects, educating the market on the power of rich conversational messaging, and replacing legacy SMS with trusted, branded, interactive mobile experiences. This role requires an agile salesperson who can articulate the ROI of rich media, verified sender trust, and two-way consumer engagement.

What You'll Be Doing

New Sales - Planning and Execution:

  • Build an RCS Pipeline:Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of enterprise prospects looking to upgrade customer communication from basic SMS to Enrich RCS.
  • Generate Meetings:Book consistent prospect meetings via cold outreach, industry networking events, and leverage contacts within digital marketing, customer experience (CX), and operations departments.
  • Drive RCS Pilots:Manage limited Enrich evaluations and proofs-of-concept with a sense of urgency, proving performance metrics like open, click, and response rates.
  • Salesforce Discipline:Use Salesforce.com to manage your pipeline, track competitor messaging products, log customer interactions, and maintain accurate proposal records.
  • Executive Reporting:Provide weekly updates to your leader with precise reporting and forecasting of opportunities across the sales cycle.

Customer Focus and Business Development:

  • Industry Expertise:Master the industry landscape of A2P messaging, CPaaS (Communications Platform as a Service), RCS protocols, and competitor pricing/differentiators.
  • Articulate the Value Story:Effectively teach prospects how Enrich transforms business-to-consumer text communication using rich interactive media, action buttons, and verified brand identities.
  • Understand Client Workflows:Map First Orion's RCS capabilities directly to clients' existing customer journeys, support workflows, and marketing tech stacks.
  • Feedback Loop:Funnel market insights and technical prospect feedback back to product management to continually improve the Enrich platform.

Growing Existing Relationships:

  • Territory Planning:Maintain and execute a strategic account plan, participating in quarterly performance and strategy reviews with leadership.
  • Multi-Thread Accounts:Establish and nurture relationships with multiple stakeholders (from managers to C-level) across Marketing, Customer Care, and IT.
  • Onboarding & Adoption:Assist with onboarding new accounts, ensuring client teams understand RCS best practices to maximize their campaign ROI.
  • Compliance & Governance:Gain a deep understanding of mobile carrier compliance, carrier fees, spam mitigation, and branded messaging protocols.

What You'll Need

  • SMS/RCS Knowledge:Existing understanding of the A2P Messaging, SMS/MMS ecosystem, 10DLC, short codes, or emerging RCS standards.
  • Mobile/CPaaS Sales Background:Prior experience in SaaS, CPaaS, digital marketing tech, or telecom sales with a proven track record of closing complex enterprise deals.
  • Full-Cycle Sales Mastery:Expertise across the entire sales process, from running discovery calls on digital communication strategy to negotiation and closing.
  • Advanced Communication:Highly articulate speaker and writer capable of presenting technical messaging solutions to both technical and marketing-focused buyers.
  • Team Collaboration:Ability to collaborate seamlessly with sales engineers, product teams, and account managers to scope custom RCS solutions.
  • Urgency & Agility:Superior time management and a drive to succeed in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving mobile tech market.
  • Creative Problem Solver:Ability to look at a brand's current static text alerts and creatively reimagine them as rich, interactive conversational experiences.
