Job description

Support the Logistics Section Chief in managing and closing Emergency Management Assistance Compact (EMAC) reimbursement packets. Responsibilities include reviewing documentation for accuracy and compliance, coordinating with agencies and personnel, tracking deployment records, preparing reimbursement packages, and providing status updates to leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and audit reimbursement documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate with agencies and deployed personnel to collect required records.
Prepare and organize reimbursement packets for client submission.
Assist with EMAC resource requests (REQ-A), deployments, and tracking.
Support resource typing, system maintenance, and post-disaster financial closeout.
Qualifications:
Emergency Management experience preferred, but not required.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Basic computer and math skills; EMAC knowledge is a plus (training provided).
Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours/week.
