Reports To
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will report to the Human Resources Manager.
Job Overview
The Human Resources Administrative Assistant is an exciting role that will be responsible for assisting with all Human Resources functions. This means you will be able to learn and touch all steps of the employee life cycle! The Human Resources Administrative Assistant will have the opportunity to support employee communication, recruitment, and assist with payroll, benefits, policy administration, health and wellness programs, employee engagement initiatives, and help drive the culture at EPยฒ. The role has additional opportunities for Human Resources growth and advancement in the future including increasingly complex HR tasks.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Assist with recruitment efforts including conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, coordinating candidate screenings, and communicating with applicants.
  • Assist with and facilitate onboarding and orientation.
  • Assist with benefits, leave, and attendance policy administration.
  • Run various reports for payroll, attendance, recruiting, compliance, and other needs.
  • Address employee questions and concerns.
  • Enter data and assist in the maintenance of personnel records.
  • Assist with the accurate and timely processing of payroll.
  • Assist with administering employee policies.
  • Prepare various employee communications including letters and announcements.
  • Assist with, and may lead, employee engagement activities, initiatives, and surveys.
  • General office duties such as filing, scanning, and employee communication.
  • Desire to learn and drive projects that improve the efficiency of Human Resources processes and systems.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in data entry, administrative assistance, or other similar duties required.
  • Prior experience in Human Resources, preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Experience with maintaining records in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

Physical Requirements
  • Typically sits, grasps items, and performs keyboarding for the regular operation of a computer.
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach, or otherwise move about regularly.
  • Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
  • Occasional exposure to typical manufacturing production physical hazards.
