Job Responsibilities
• Reading and interpreting all job paperwork, drawings, color specifications, and instructions fully and accurately before and during production
• Mixing and applying paint according to job specifications and company quality standards
• Painting channel letters, cabinets, raceways, backers, panels, and other sign components using proper spray techniques
• Ensuring proper color match, coverage, finish consistency, and overall appearance of painted products
• Inspecting painted parts for defects such as runs, dry spray, contamination, uneven coverage, or damage
• Identifying and correcting paint defects prior to release to the next production stage
• Maintaining paint guns, spray equipment, booths, and related tools in proper working condition
• Following proper handling and storage procedures for paints, thinners, and hazardous materials
• Minimizing material waste and rework through attention to detail and proper paint application techniques
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Following all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and environmental procedures
