Business Development Representative – Sales

Department: Toyota Sales
Reports To: Internet Sales Manager

Wage Range:  wage is based on experience plus commission 

Job Summary

The Business Development Representative (BDR) – Sales is responsible for receiving, processing, verifying, and distributing information related to inbound and outbound sales activities. This includes handling inquiries for new and used vehicles, managing internet leads, and providing general information to prospective and existing customers. The Business Development Rep. must be able to work every other Saturday as part of the job schedule.


Core Responsibilities

  • Qualify internet leads to create sales opportunities.
  • Schedule sales appointments for Sales Consultants.
  • Make outbound phone calls to new and existing customers.
  • Assist Sales Consultants in selling vehicles through phone calls, text messages, and emails.
  • Answer inbound sales calls and gather relevant customer information.
  • Update and maintain detailed notes within the CRM system.
  • Test and implement various prospecting tools and software.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
