Salary Range: $180,000.00 To $210,000.00 Annually

Primary Purpose of Job

Responsible for designing, implementing, and leading the bank’s learning and organizational development strategy. This role drives employee growth, leadership development, regulatory training compliance, and organizational capability building across all business lines. The Director partners with leaders to drive business performance through a culture of continuous learning.

Major Job Accountabilities

  • Lead change management strategies, communication, and stakeholder engagement for organizational initiatives. Monitors readiness and measures outcomes.
  • Owns succession planning efforts which include identifying and developing future leaders across the organization.
  • Lead the design and delivery of professional development, management training, and leadership programs.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise-wide learning and development strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Works closely with business leaders to understand needs, provide consultation, and develop organization and learning related plans/programs.
  • Collaborates with leadership and Human Resources to ensure deliberate and aligned plans for attracting, developing/growing, and retaining talent. Ensures effective design and delivery of organizational practices throughout the company.
  • Identifies opportunities to increase productivity, employee performance, and employee satisfaction, thereby improving business results and effectiveness.
  • Act as a change agent and develops plans to prepare employees and leaders for ongoing change.
  • Evaluates current organizational processes and provide plans and solutions for process improvement and organizational change to ensure success.
  • Ensures business needs are met through strategic decision making and managing department budget

Experience Required

  • Minimum ten (10) years of experience in HR, Organizational Development, Training & Development, long-term strategic planning, and leading complex change management projects.
  • Minimum five (5) years of Management or supervisory experience.

Required Skills or Training

  • Exceptional leadership skills and substantial business acumen with a comprehensive understanding of the link between talent development and business strategy.
  • Capable of establishing and maintaining relationships with Executives and leaders across the bank.
  • Ability to drive organizational awareness and inspire others to act in a manner that models ASB’s mission, vision, and values.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving abilities, strategic thinking, able to perform complex analyses and make sound decisions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills. Able to diplomatically handle a variety of situations and personalities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

  • Valid US Driver’s License and access to a motor vehicle.
