Role and Responsibilities

Position Overview:

As the Senior Manager, Trade Marketing, you will be responsible for the development, execution and measurement of Samsung's trade marketing strategy for both Samsung and Dacor brands. The primary goal of this role is to increase awareness with the trade channel for recommendation, ultimately resulting in sales.

You will oversee an in-market Trade Representative team who will develop and nurture relationships with the trade as well as manage Dacor's branded showrooms as key platform to drive brand advocacy.

You will be active in the trade community and be face of the brand with key trade associations. You will work cross-functionally and leverage data and analytics to continue learn and optimize all activity.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • To develop a strategy which influences core touchpoints throughout the luxury (Dacor) & premium (Samsung) trade path to purchase
  • Develop marketing awareness and amplification opportunities including paid and organic tactics
  • Identification of channel enablement needs including programming, digital and physical tools and educational needs
  • Primary brand representative for industry associations to activate awareness & event programming within the trade channel
  • Directly manage the companies trade representative capability to act as a brand ambassador to drive awareness across top designers and builders and drive showroom traffic
  • End-to-end management of Dacor's branded showroom strategy, operations, budget management and execution as a primary influencer in the trade channel and directly managing a showroom team of six
  • Develop & execute, in collaboration with the Showroom team, organic and event showroom traffic drivers (including demonstrations, CEU's, large scale events) to increase trade awareness of the Dacor brand
  • Optimizing Dacor's in-showroom and post-showroom experience including nurturing leads and optimizing CRM
  • Attend networking events with local channel associations and branded showrooms and create new opportunities
  • Develop scorecards and KPI's across all areas of trade marketing, draw conclusions & insights from learning to continually optimize the trade strategy, presenting to executive leadership where needed
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to customers and internal leadership
  • Dynamic thinker able to work complex issues to drive successful outcomes, with ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Skills and Qualifications

Background/Experience Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field of study for interior & kitchen design knowledge with 8+ years in an appropriate in-market role
  • Previous branded showroom management and experience in organizing small and large events at showroom facilities
  • People management experience is mandatory
  • Experience interfacing with internal stakeholders and external agencies
  • Professional experience with MS Office suite knowledge and skills
  • Travel expectation up to 25%
