The Organic Trade Association focuses on industry advocacy, policy, and promoting organic standards across the sector. In contrast, an Organic Certification Specialist primarily works on certifying farms and companies, ensuring they meet organic standards through audits and compliance checks. Both roles are vital in the organic industry but serve different functions—one advocates for the industry as a whole, while the other ensures individual compliance.
Partnering with our clients, DCI provides strategic counsel and designs winning public affairs and communications campaigns around the world. Our creative solutions advance the business priorities of our clients by delivering results in the most challenging environments.
Our team includes public affairs strategists who have held positions at the most senior levels within government, politics, and corporate communications. DCI Group is seeking an entry-level digital public affairs professional to join our Washington, DC office. Candidates must demonstrate a working knowledge of and interest in the public policy process, be familiar with the basic principles of organic and paid social media, digital advertising, and have strong writing and communication skills.
