Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sr Org Effectiveness Spec.
The Senior Organization Effectiveness Specialist will be responsible for delivering on key projects and OE solutions across the institution. This role will partner closely with senior business leaders, managers and HR Business Partners and execute culture initiatives, change management work, coaching, OD interventions, HR key projects, organization design, and HR dashboard and metrics as well as support critical OneHR initiatives to move forward the strategic goals of the health system.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Takes a broad view of NYU Langone needs, industry trends, and the organizations ongoing transformational projects to anticipate and plan for the types of OD & Change engagements required.
  • Ensures Organization Effectiveness/Development and Change Management best practices are consistently applied within the organization and that new, innovative trends within the field are adapted.
  • Participates in the development and delivery of OE and Learning and Leadership supported programs (e.g., Langone Academy, others) with OD colleagues.
  • Works in conjunction with OE Specialists and other team members to provide professional development opportunities for clients as part of broader HR interventions.
  • Evaluates OE interventions, using qualitative or quantitative methods, for use in determining overall impact of client solutions.
  • Conducts evidence-based research to inform the design and delivery of relevant services and interventions including, but not limited to strategy, teambuilding, conflict management, group facilitation, leadership development and change management.
  • Establishes strategic partnerships with external and internal sources and vendors.
  • Oversees and administers a robust portfolio of assessment instruments like 360, MBTI, DISC, Hogan, etc. Identifies best assessment instrument(s) for leadership development programs/team interventions.
  • Manages expectations of key stakeholders and offers project updates while establishing organization-wide organization development activities for employees and teams.
  • Conducts needs assessment, meets with client representatives and uses contracting principles to ensure that the right conditions are present for an effective OE intervention.
  • Builds relationships based on trust, respect and the spirit of transparency by providing developmental coaching to managers and leaders, including coaching around skills needed to lead team members/other leaders and sustain change.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree preferred in Organization Effectiveness/Development, Change Management, I/O Psychology or equivalent experience
6- 8 years of progressive HR / OD / OE / Change leadership experience.
Able to undertake program design, delivery and development of metrics in large complex organizations.
Proven success and implemented organization effectiveness/development interventions.
Experience with OE/OD and Change models, methodologies, and practices
Ability to influence without formal authority and lead project teams with the capability to adapt to political nuances across the hospital system.
Excellent presentation and facilitation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with senior leaders and employees at all levels.
Strong consultative skills, with the ability to partner with and influence leaders across the organization.
Proven success in working in a fast-paced, growing business environment; Demonstrates learning agility
Active affiliation with appropriate human resources networks (e.g., SIOP, SHRM, NYHRPS, ODN New York), organizations preferred
Certifications in Assessment Instruments and Coaching are preferred.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York State Pay Transparency Law. The salary range for the role is $101,493.00 - $175,076.00 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
