Customer Service/Order Processing Specialist


Job Summary

Seeking an energetic, detailed oriented Customer Service/Sales Order Processing Specialist to help grow our team. This person will have the responsibility of managing dealer accounts and incoming sales orders accurately and efficiently. The position requires professionalism along with excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate must be able to work independently with little or no supervision, while making decisions using knowledge of company policies and procedures to resolve standard and non-standard problems. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, able to multitask, and enjoy the administrative challenges of supporting a clientele of diverse people.


Duties

• Responsible for the accurate and timely management of customer sales orders from receipt to payment.

• Respond to customer inquiries by researching status of shipments, incoming products, sales order changes, and inventory levels.

• Answer phone calls to assist customers with orders and processing payments.

• Monitor inventory levels to assist ordering manager.

• Manage daily office activities when management is traveling.

• Working knowledge of accounting procedures is beneficial.


Responsibilities

• Processing customer orders using SAP Business One order management system.

• Verifying order details, including pricing, quantities, and shipping information.

• Communicating with dealers/distributors via email and phone calls.

• Resolving order discrepancies and communicating with internal teams.

• Processing payments for orders and other miscellaneous payments.

• Posting payments.

• Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested.


Requirements

• Computer Proficiency: Experience with order management systems and data entry. Utilize inventory systems to answer product availability questions. Training will be provided on SAP Business One system.

• Attention to Detail: Essential for accuracy in order processing and inventory.

Phone/Communication Skills: Needed for collaborating with dealers, customers, and carriers.
