About the Role:
The Order Management Consultant is responsible for supporting the sales-to-order lifecycle by reviewing completed sales opportunities, validating required documentation and customer information, and creating accurate records used for implementation and billing. This role serves as a key liaison between Sales, Finance, Service Delivery, and other internal teams to ensure opportunities are processed efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review sales opportunities and the supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, and policy compliance before order creation.
  • Create customer location records and CPE records in Salesforce.
  • Validate customer details including service address, product configuration, pricing approvals, and required internal fields prior to order submission.
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Service Delivery to resolve opportunity discrepancies.
  • Maintain knowledge of internal sales stages, opportunity workflows, and process requirements to support efficient processing.
  • Communicate professionally with internal stakeholders regarding status, requirements, risks, and timelines.
  • Support process improvement efforts that simplify order entry, improve data quality, and enhance the sales and customer experience.

Required Qualifications
  • Experience working with CRM/order-entry platforms such as Salesforce.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and cross-functional coordination skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
