Job description

Do you bring hands-on experience managing international order fulfilment and air-freight cold-chain distribution for pharmaceutical, medical device or reagent products? Are you ready to own orders from customer request through delivery across North America and Latin America?

If this sounds like you and you are driven by purpose, join the SOPHiA GENETICS Operations team as a Senior Order Fulfilment and Distribution Specialist and enable us to make a positive impact on the outcomes for cancer and rare disease patients worldwide.

Our Mission

We believe there is a smarter, more data-driven way to make decisions in healthcare and our cloud-native AI powered SOPHiA DDM Platform makes that vision a reality on a daily basis. You will have direct input to our mission to democratize data-driven medicine for the ultimate benefit of cancer and rare disease patients across the globe.

Your Mission

You will be the focal point for order fulfilment and distribution across North America and Latin America, managing the process from customer order entry through international shipment and confirmed delivery. Working closely with production, sales, sales operations and logistics partners, you will help ensure customers receive temperature-sensitive products reliably while navigating the customs and import requirements of the region.

You will also manage orders fulfilled through our US third-party logistics partner and support the operation as our US distribution model evolves.

The value you add
  • Own the end-to-end order fulfilment process, from receiving and entering customer orders through shipment coordination, follow-up and delivery.
  • Coordinate international shipments from Europe to customers across North America and Latin America, ensuring cold-chain and air-freight requirements are met.
  • Serve as the regional point of contact for customer requests and delivery issues, providing timely support within the customers’ time zones.
  • Manage orders fulfilled through the US warehouse and the relationship with the third-party logistics provider.
  • Collaborate with production, sales and sales operations colleagues to maintain clear communication and reliable service throughout the order lifecycle.

We know that every background is different, but to be best set for success we see you bringing:

  • Demonstrable experience across both order fulfilment and distribution, including receiving customer orders, processing them and managing the associated logistics.
  • Hands-on international shipping experience between Europe and the United States or Latin America; experience limited to domestic US distribution will not be sufficient for this role.
  • Practical experience managing temperature-controlled cold-chain shipments by air freight.
  • Distribution experience within pharmaceuticals, healthcare, medical devices, reagents or a closely related regulated product environment.
  • Familiarity with US customs, importation rules and the documentation requirements relevant to regulated, temperature-sensitive products.
  • Spanish language skills would be valuable when supporting customers and colleagues across Latin America, but are not required.
You will be joining an organization with the patient at the heart of every decision and action, driven by purpose as we pursue exponential growth.

Business recognition and accolades include:

  • World's most innovative companies (Top 10)
  • World's smartest companies (Top 50)
  • 100 Best Places to Work in Boston
  • Top 10 European Tech Startup
