YOUR ROLE

The Senior Sales Support Analyst, plays a critical role in supporting the sales organization by leading and optimizing the end-to-end quote-to-order process. This position acts as a key partner to Sales, Sales Operations, Deal Desk, Finance, Legal, Revenue Operations, Order Management, and external partner teams to ensure accurate quoting, contract compliance, order processing, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and experienced in navigating complex sales transactions within a fast-paced technology environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Quote Management

  • Prepare and review customer quotes for software subscriptions, licenses, support, services, and renewals.

  • Validate pricing, product configurations, discount approvals, and commercial terms in accordance with company policies.

  • Ensure quote accuracy and completeness prior to customer submission.

  • Guide, coordinate, and direct external partner teams on accurate quote execution for customers

Order Processing

  • Manage the transition of approved opportunities from quote to order.

  • Direct external teams to assist in processing orders into CRM systems.

  • Review purchase orders against approved quotes and contractual terms.

  • Coordinate order creation and booking activities within CRM and ERP systems.

  • Resolve order discrepancies and ensure timely processing.

Sales Support

  • Partner closely with Account Managers and Sales Leadership to support deal execution.

  • Provide guidance on quoting policies, approval workflows, and contractual requirements.

  • Assist with complex transactions involving multiple products, regions, or business units.

  • Assist in product and pricing management within the CRM tools to ensure appropriate quote creation and accurate pricing models are utilized.

Process Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, revenue recognition requirements, and business policies.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and audit readiness for all transactions.

  • Support SOX-compliant processes where applicable.

Data Analysis & Reporting

  • Analyze quote-to-order metrics and identify opportunities to improve cycle times and operational efficiency.

  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports related to sales transactions, bookings, backlog, and pipeline conversion.

  • Support management reporting and business reviews.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with:

    • Sales Operations

  • Facilitate issue resolution and ensure seamless customer onboarding after order booking.

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance scalability and customer experience.

  • Participate in system enhancements and process automation projects involving Salesforce, CPQ, ERP, and related tools.

  • Support change management initiatives related to quote-to-order transformation.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Operations, or related field.

3+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Inside Sales Support, Quote-to-Cash (QTC), Quote-to-Order (Q2O), Revenue Operations, or Order Management.

Experience supporting a global technology or software company.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Experience working with CRM and ERP systems.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Salesforce CRM.

Experience with CPQ platforms (Salesforce CPQ, Conga, Oracle CPQ, or similar).

Knowledge of SaaS, software licensing, maintenance, and support models.

Familiarity with revenue recognition principles and sales compliance requirements.

Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.

Knowledge of subscription-based business models.
