Job description

Cottonwood Distribution, a proud family-owned business with over 60 years of service, is seeking Seasonal Swing Shift Warehouse Associates to support our busy peak season (April through September). In this role, you'll play a key part in picking, organizing, and preparing customer orders to ensure accurate and timely delivery. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position ideal for individuals who enjoy physical work and being part of a team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Use a mobile WMS system to pick and replenish products for customer orders
  • Pick items accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Organize and label orders for delivery
  • Assist with receiving and stocking inventory as needed
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace
  • Work both independently and collaboratively with team members
  • Follow all safety procedures in a safety-sensitive environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Schedule:

  • Part-time, seasonal position (April through September)
  • Workdays: Sunday, Monday, and Wednesday
  • Shift: Swing shift, approximately 2:00 PM until work is completed (typically up to 12:30 AM)

Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Previous warehouse experience preferred
  • Experience with pallet jacks or similar equipment is a plus
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly (with or without accommodation)
  • Comfortable working in multiple temperature environments, including refrigerated and freezer areas
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Basic math skills for order accuracy and inventory tracking
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written in English)
  • Food Handler's Permit preferred

Work Environment:
