The Edmonton Parts Distribution Center is currently hiring part-time employees for flexible hours. We are seeking a motivated Supplemental Warehouse Worker to join our high-quality, fast-paced team!

Position Summary

In this role you may be responsible for picking and packing parts for daily stock orders and emergency shipments, and sorting and receiving inbound parts in all warehouse zones. Other related duties may be assigned by the supervisor. Job details are dependent on duties assigned but in general consist of the following:

  • Efficiently pick and sort parts within the warehouse, as well as prepare parts for shipment.
  • Operate power driven equipment such as forklifts and industrial trucks to move material, parts, and equipment.
  • Sort and receive inbound parts in all warehouse zones.
  • Read and comprehend work instructions and follow established procedures.
  • Assist and support other team members.
  • Clean work area and perform other miscellaneous duties inherent to the job.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of warehouse parts systems and shipping processes
  • Experience in a warehouse or industrial setting
  • Communication and interpersonal skills
  • Forklift experience is an asset
  • Ability to perform manual tasks related to described job duties for duration of work shift; including but not limited to frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting (up to 50 lbs.)

Hours of Work

  • Up to 40 hours per week (depending on seasonal business needs).  
  • Successful incumbents must be available to work the following shifts (Monday to Friday with occasional Saturdays): 7:30am-4:00pm or 9:30am - 6:00pm. *Note that shifts are subject to change due to operational needs
  • Potential for overtime (including weekends)

Additional job details:

  • $24.29 /hour base rate, with potential earnings in the form of performance bonus 
  • Safety equipment and training will be provided
