Description:

The Order Filler is a crucial role within the logistics and warehousing industry. This position is primarily responsible for accurately and efficiently assembling customer orders by selecting the right products from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Performs all warehousing activities, to include receiving, storing, issuing, reconstitution, inventorying, and shipping bulk and individual gear and equipment.


Order Filler Responsibilities Include:

· Perform a full range of warehousing activities, to include, but not limited to, receiving, storing, issuing, reconstitution, inventorying, and shipping bulk and individual gear and equipment.

· Conducts the accurate packing and shipping of PGI material.

· Receiving and filling customer orders.

· Picking merchandise from warehouse shelves, packing merchandise, checking packed merchandise against orders for accuracy, and keeping track of inventory and shipments.

· Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in performing warehouse duties, such as packing, shipping, receiving, filling customer orders, picking merchandise from warehouse shelves, packing merchandise, checking packed merchandise against orders for accuracy, and keeping track of inventory and shipments.
  • Demonstrate written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be detailed-oriented, demonstrate good time-management skills and manage workload with minimal oversight.
  • The ability to obtain forklift safety certification.
  • The ability to pass a drug screen and background check is required.
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
  • Past applicable job experience may include, but is not limited to: Inventory Specialist, Facilities Coordinator, or Inventory Associate.
