Order Fulfillment Associate Job Description
Reports to: Order Fulfillment Supervisor/Manager
Hours: Sunday - Thursday 10:30PM - 7AM
Position Summary:
The Order Fulfillment Associate is responsible for fulfilling domestic and international customer orders on time and accurate through picking, packing, and shipping.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize handheld I-pod device to locate inventory, assemble customer orders from stock and transport orders on pallets or shelves, or conveys orders to packing station.
  • Check accuracy and prepare orders for shipment utilizing tote scanning.
  • Pack orders utilizing proper packing methods to make best use of carton space and packing material.
  • Correctly calculate package weights, prepare invoices, and process packages using shipping meter and rate chart.
  • Assist with routine cycle counts.
  • Weighs or counts items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards.
  • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
  • Replenish stock levels in assigned bin locations from stock locations.
  • Meet and maintain accuracy and productivity level requirements.
  • Prepare delivery trucks for daily routes and cosmetically maintain delivery trucks.
  • May drive vehicle to transport items between buildings or transport items from several locations for shipment.
  • Partake in overall housekeeping including cleaning, organizing, dusting, sweeping, etc.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
Skills amp; Abilities:
  • Ability to effectively communicate with leadership, managers, leads, and peers.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other job-related equipment and software.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Willing to participate in Company designated training.
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision/guidance.
  • Must have knowledge of and comply with the policies and procedures contained in the company handbook.
  • Must be able to practice safe work habits.
Physical Demands:
This is a General Warehouse position that requires sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and use of hands continuously for eight hours. This position requires lifting/moving up to 50 pounds and occasionally with assistance lifting/moving up to 100 pounds. This position requires extended amounts of time walking and climbing stairs. This position requires frequent work time beyond an eight-hour shift/40-hour week including shift rotation and weekends. This position requires the operation of basic office equipment.
