Project Manager - ICI Construction (New Build)
📍 Ottawa, ON
💰 Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 (based on experience)
About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable and growing General Contractor in Ottawa seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in delivering new build ICI construction projects.
This role is ideal for a driven construction professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has successfully managed commercial, institutional, or light industrial projects from pre-construction through closeout.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead full-cycle project delivery of new build ICI construction projects
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and cost forecasts
  • Oversee subcontractor procurement, scope reviews, and contract administration
  • Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
  • Conduct regular site meetings with Superintendents, consultants, and clients
  • Monitor project performance and implement risk mitigation strategies
  • Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and trade partners
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience with a General Contractor
  • Proven experience delivering ground-up ICI projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, and budgeting
  • Experience managing projects from $5M+ preferred
  • Solid understanding of CCDC contracts and construction documentation
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Procore, or similar construction software
  • Post-secondary education in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
