The Order Manager is the primary point of contact for new and existing clients. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, coordinating order intake, issuing quotes, and ensuring seamless execution of traffic control services and equipment rentals. The role blends client care, inside sales, and operational coordination, ensuring clients receive accurate guidance, timely service, and effective traffic control solutions while supporting business growth and operational efficiency.



What you will be responsible for:

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the first point of contact for all client interactions (phone, email, walk-ins)
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships by understanding job requirements and service needs
  • Act as a trusted advisor by providing guidance on traffic control solutions aligned with client objectives
  • Maintain regular contact with existing and potential clients to support retention and growth
  • Resolve client inquiries and issues promptly with professionalism and urgency


Sales, Quotes & Order Intake

  • Prepare and issue accurate customer quotes, exercising judgment based on customer needs, market conditions, and company profitability
  • Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional services or rental equipment
  • Accurately enter estimates, sales orders, and related documentation into internal systems
  • Ensure all transactions are processed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with company standards
  • Support invoicing and payment processing for rental and service transactions


Client Growth & Business Development

  • Grow revenue within the existing client base by identifying expansion opportunities
  • Analyze client profiles and order history to prioritize high-growth opportunities
  • Proactively initiate outbound calls to maintain engagement with leads and active clients
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to align sales efforts with business objectives


Safety & Compliance

  • Support compliance with health and safety policies, procedures, and practices in collaboration with OHS
  • Apply knowledge of traffic control standards (including MTO Book 7 where applicable) when advising clients and preparing orders

What we need from you:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in professional office setting; preferably within the construction industry(Required)
  • Must be available to work Monday - Friday, 8 hrs/day, between the hours of 6am - 4pm(Required)
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail/Sheets/Docs) and ability to learn new software applications (Required)
  • Strong verbal and written English and French communication skills (Required)
  • Valid G class driver's license and your own vehicle(Asset)
  • Diploma in office administration/management or related discipline(Asset)
  • Exceptional ability to communicate, influence, and negotiate with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong customer-centric mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
