Minimum Qualifications: MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Any Bachelor's degree or higher AND two years of professional experience directly related to the faculty's teaching assignment OR Any Associate degree AND six years of professional experience directly related to the faculty member's teaching assignment OR Possess a valid California teaching credential authorizing service in a community college in the appropriate subject matter area Commitment to diversity

The applicant must be able to demonstrate how these factors relate to the need for equity minded practices within the classroom. Desirable Qualifications: DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS Demonstrated success in helping arts students from historically underrepresented and/or marginalized groups, nontraditional students, speakers of other languages, and students with learning disabilities.

Working Conditions: Salary Range: $1572.67 - $1725.85 per lecture unit rate, $1572.67 - $1725.85 per lab parity unit rate, $1258.16 - $1380.60 per lab unit rate Open Date: 06/10/2026 Close Date: 06/09/2027 Special Instructions Summary: SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS SUMMARY This recruitment will remain active for a period of one year, from the position opening date. If there is no longer a need to fill, the position may be closed sooner, and applicants will be notified. This is a continuous recruitment to fill part-time, and temporary faculty assignments on an as-needed basis
