System Administrator

Scottsdale, Arizona, United States

Oracle Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu build/delivery Support server, storage and database migration activities Assist team with root cause analysis for major incidents. Hands-on in shell, perl scripts; 7+ years of experience in Python required Knowledge on continuous security OS patching and validation Ensure all solutions and recommended solutions are consistent IT standards and best practices Engineering initiatives that bring greater transparency and resiliency to PayPal core infrastructure You should be able to document and articulate changes to standard build procedures. MUST HAVE:

  • 7+ years of hands-on Python experience
  • Strong skills in Shell and Perl scripting
  • Experience with Oracle Enterprise Linux and Ubuntu
  • Understanding of OS patching and system hardening
  • Experience with infrastructure engineering and root cause analysis
