Job Description
StratasCorp Technologies has an immediate Software Developer opening for the Navy Information Operations Database (NIODB) in support of the Navy's Electronic Warfare Data (EWD) mission. We are looking for an experienced .NET programmer to join our team to provide support to the development/testing and implementation/maintenance/sustainment of the NIODB Electronic Distribution capability in support of Fleet Tactical/Training Libraries using .NET MVC. We are looking for someone who is excited about taking on technical challenges, enjoys working as part of a team, and who can also take on a solo challenge.
Duties include:
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining the NIODB Tactical Reprogramming Exchange (T-REX) web application using C# and MVC Framework
  • Working with Oracle database to retrieve data, this includes development of queries, functions, and procedures using SQL and PL/SQL
  • Participating in software development meetings
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining project Kanban boards using Azure DevOps
  • Collaborating with team members to achieve development goals
  • Reviewing requirements documentation and creating Level of Effort documentation in response
  • Maintaining personal certifications, education, and training

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
  • Minimum 5+ years of demonstrated experience in professional software development
  • Minimum 2+ years of demonstrated experience in C# and MVC
  • Minimum 2+ years of demonstrated experience in eXtensible Markup Language (XML) and XML Schema Definition (XSD)
  • Experience developing complex SQL queries, procedures, and functions
  • Top Secret/SCI
  • Must possess DOD 8570 CSWF certification: Security+ CE
