We are currently looking for a Senior / Lead Siebel Developer for an exciting opportunity with our client in Piscataway, NJ. Please review the details below and let me know if you are interested.

Position: Senior / Lead Siebel Developer

Location: Piscataway, NJ
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Onsite 2–3 days per week
Employment Type: C2C / C2H
C2C Rate: $70–$75/hr, with a maximum of $80/hr depending on experience
C2H: Minimum 1-year contract, with the potential to continue as a contractor or transition to a full-time position with the client

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior / Lead Siebel Developer to join our enterprise applications team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Siebel CRM development, configuration, customization, integration, production support, and technical solution design.

This role will involve working on multiple Siebel enhancement projects, managing Jira stories, supporting daily application activities, and contributing to upcoming initiatives involving the migration of Siebel applications to the cloud.

The successful candidate will work independently, make technical and architectural decisions, collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, and provide technical leadership throughout the application development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, customize, develop, implement, and maintain Siebel CRM applications.
  • Work extensively with Siebel Tools, including Applets, Views, Screens, Business Components, Business Objects, Joins, Links, and MVGs.
  • Develop complex business logic using Siebel Workflows, Business Services, Task UI, and Siebel eScript.
  • Design and maintain enterprise integrations using Siebel EAI, Integration Objects, Data Maps, REST, and SOAP Web Services.
  • Develop and support integrations with external enterprise applications.
  • Write, analyze, and optimize Oracle SQL/PLSQL queries.
  • Troubleshoot database connectivity, query performance, timeout issues, and application performance problems.
  • Provide Tier 3 production support and resolve complex Siebel application/environment issues.
  • Perform crash-log, FDR/Callstack analysis, and troubleshoot data synchronization defects.
  • Support Siebel migration and incremental deployment activities across environments.
  • Manage and track Jira stories and participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
  • Participate in requirements gathering, technical design, development, testing, UAT, deployment, and production support.
  • Provide technical guidance and communicate solutions effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Contribute to upcoming Siebel cloud migration initiatives, including OCI/hybrid-cloud environments.
  • Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve eScript development, SQL optimization, troubleshooting, and overall development efficiency.
Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of hands-on Siebel CRM development and configuration experience.
  • Expert knowledge of Siebel architecture and the Data Objects, Business Objects, and User Interface layers.
