Thought Logic Consulting

Atlanta, GA • On-site

Full-time

Job description

Description
Thought Logic Consulting is a functionally-led, digitally enabled consultancy that exists at the intersection of business transformation and technology innovation. We partner with clients to solve their most complex business problems and we do it in a highly collaborative, local-market approach, giving clients senior-level attention and giving our consultants room to grow, lead, and build.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced Oracle EPM Solution Architect, to join our growing Enterprise Performance Management practice. In this role, you will oversee the successful delivery of complex Oracle EPM engagements, advise senior finance and technology leaders, and help expand Thought Logic's capabilities and client relationships.
You will combine deep Oracle EPM and finance transformation expertise with strong engagement, people, and business leadership. You will be accountable for the quality and financial health of your projects, guide teams through complex delivery challenges, and help clients make strategic decisions about their EPM environment.
You will also contribute to the continued growth of the practice through solution development, proposals, recruiting, team development, and the expansion of existing client relationships.
What You'll Do
  • Lead multiple complex Oracle EPM Cloud engagements, overseeing delivery from strategy and design through implementation, deployment, and ongoing optimization
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to CFOs, finance executives, technology leaders, and other senior client stakeholders
  • Provide leadership across engagement scope, financials, staffing, schedule, quality, risks, and client expectations
  • Guide clients through finance transformation, EPM modernization, operating-model, and technology decisions
  • Oversee solution architecture and ensure Oracle EPM solutions align with the client's business objectives, finance processes, and long-term technology strategy
  • Lead engagements involving Oracle Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close, Account Reconciliation, Enterprise Data Management, Profitability and Cost Management, or related Oracle capabilities
  • Create strong governance, accountability, and communication across project teams and client stakeholders
  • Identify and resolve complex delivery, stakeholder, financial, and organizational challenges
  • Develop and maintain trusted client relationships that extend beyond an individual project or implementation
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing relationships through additional capabilities, services, and solutions
  • Lead or support sales pursuits, including qualification, solution development, estimates, proposals, presentations, and statements of work
  • Collaborate with account and practice leaders on pipeline development, market opportunities, and go-to-market offerings
  • Mentor and develop managers, consultants, and technical team members
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, performance management, and career development across the Oracle EPM practice
  • Help develop scalable delivery methods, accelerators, intellectual property, and quality standards
  • Contribute to the strategic direction and continued growth of Thought Logic's Enterprise Performance Management practice
  • Stay current on Oracle EPM capabilities, finance transformation trends, and emerging technologies affecting the office of the CFO

Who You'll Work With
  • A team of experienced Oracle EPM professionals delivering complex finance and performance-management transformations
  • CFOs, controllers, FP&A leaders, chief accounting officers, CIOs, and other senior client executives
  • Engagement leaders, account leaders, and consultants across Thought Logic's Enterprise Performance Management, Data & Analytics, and Business Enablement practices
  • Clients across industries who are modernizing their finance processes, systems, and reporting capabilities
  • Firm leadership that provides direct access and expects Senior Managers to help shape how we deliver and grow
  • Colleagues who value accountability, collaboration, intellectual curiosity, and practical problem-solving

What You'll Bring
  • 10 or more years of professional experience delivering Oracle EPM, Hyperion, finance transformation, or related enterprise performance management solutions
  • Significant consulting experience leading complex Oracle EPM engagements and client relationships
  • Deep experience in one or more Oracle EPM Cloud applications, such as Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close, Account Reconciliation, Enterprise Data Management, or Profitability and Cost Management
  • Demonstrated success leading multiple workstreams, projects, or engagements simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, close, reporting, account reconciliation, and related finance processes
  • Experience managing project scope, financials, staffing, timelines, risks, quality, and client expectations
  • Ability to advise senior finance and technology executives on strategy, operating processes, solution architecture, and transformation priorities
  • Experience developing trusted client relationships and identifying opportunities to expand those relationships
  • Experience leading proposals, solution development, estimates, presentations, and statements of work
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop consulting teams
  • Strong executive communication, facilitation, negotiation, presentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on involvement when projects require it
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Oracle EPM Cloud certifications
  • Experience across multiple Oracle EPM Cloud applications and adjacent Oracle technologies
  • Experience leading large-scale finance transformation or EPM modernization programs
  • A track record of expanding client relationships or contributing to new business opportunities
  • Experience developing industry-specific Oracle EPM solutions or go-to-market offerings
  • Experience growing an Oracle EPM consulting practice, capability, or team
  • Existing relationships within the Oracle ecosystem or office-of-the-CFO community
  • Experience developing reusable implementation methods, accelerators, or intellectual property

Why Thought Logic
  • Work on transformations that matter, not slide decks that sit on shelves
  • Real responsibility and ownership over how work gets delivered and how clients experience us
  • The opportunity to lead complex Oracle EPM engagements while remaining connected to the work
  • Direct access to firm leadership and meaningful influence over how our EPM practice grows and evolves
  • The ability to build trusted client relationships and help grow accounts without stepping into a traditional quota-only sales role
  • A platform to develop consultants, shape new capabilities, and help build a growing practice
  • A culture that values depth over optics, outcomes over activity, and people over process
  • The chance to grow your career in a firm that's scaling thoughtfully and intentionally, not just chasing growth for growth's sake
