Position: QA Analyst – Oracle CC&B (Customer Care & Billing)

Location: New York (NY)

Experience: 10+ Years

Duration: Contract / Full-Time Employment

Job Summary:

We are looking for a QA Analyst with strong experience in Oracle CC&B (Customer Care and Billing) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing utility-based applications and a solid understanding of billing, customer service, and meter-to-cash processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual and/or automation testing for Oracle CC&B applications
  • Analyze business requirements and create test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Validate billing, payments, customer management, and meter data processes
  • Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT testing
  • Identify, log, and track defects using tools like JIRA or ALM
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders
  • Ensure quality standards are met in utility domain applications

Required Skills:

  • Over all 10  years of experience in IT in QA/Testing
  • 3+ years of QA experience with Oracle CC&B (Customer Care & Billing)
  • Strong knowledge of Utilities domain (Electric, Gas, or Water)
  • Experience in end-to-end testing of billing and customer lifecycle
  • Good understanding of SQL for data validation
  • Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automation tools (Selenium, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Oracle Utilities framework
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with integration testing (CC&B with other systems like MDM, OMS)
  • Prior experience working with US-based utility clients
