  • Troubleshoot issues that arise during payroll processing and apply critical thinking and best judgment to problem-solve or escalate quickly to ensure timely resolution during tight deadlines.

  • Monitor the daily Oracle to ADP Databridge integration to ensure a successful flow of employee data and accuracy between HRIS, Payroll, Benefits, G/L. Identify and communicate issues to stakeholders or resolve issues when necessary.

  • Prepare biweekly, monthly, and quarterly payroll data and generate comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Process/export RSU transactions from Equity Edge into ADP and run off-cycle payrolls when the amount is over the $100 threshold. Ensure Equity Edge is kept current with employee YTD tax data and individual tax/employee records are maintained when there are employment status changes.

  • Create and maintain SOPs to streamline, standardize, and scale payroll processes.

Compliance and Governance:

  • Remain current with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and partner with Payroll Manager and ADP to implement changes promptly.

  • Support quarterly and year-end reporting, including wage/tax amendments, W-2s, 1099s, 3922s, and state/local forms.

  • Coordinate and assist with requests and questions from financial, retirement plan, and tax auditors.

  • May assist with audits of internal records, worker's comp, tax filings and related documentation.

  • Knowledge of SOX compliant practices and understanding of internal controls. May assist with periodic testing of controls with internal or external auditors.

Technology and Innovation:

  • Stay current with evolving payroll technology and software.

  • Continuously evaluate payroll processes and suggest/identify/implement process improvements for accuracy and efficiency.
