Job purpose
The Oracle Finance Systems Lead is responsible for the technical leadership, operational ownership, and strategic evolution of enterprise financial systems supporting the Finance organization.
This role ensures the stability, scalability, security, and optimization of Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EPM platforms, while overseeing an outsourced support model. Acting as a trusted technical advisor to Finance leadership, the role bridges Finance business needs with enterprise technology standards, architecture, and long-term roadmaps.
Key responsibilities
  1. Own day-to-day operational support for Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EPM platforms, including access, security, configuration, and system stability.
  2. Lead and manage outsourced support partners, ensuring SLA adherence and effective resolution of BAU issues and service tickets.
  3. Act as the technical subject matter expert for Oracle financial systems, supporting Finance operations and strategic initiatives.
  4. Translate Finance business requirements into technical solutions and maintain operational documentation and runbooks.
  5. Partner with Finance and ET teams to plan, test, and deploy Oracle upgrades, patches, and releases.
  6. Design and support integrations and data flows between Oracle systems and third-party platforms.
  7. Monitor and resolve data, reconciliation, and reporting issues, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.
  8. Enforce system governance, change management, security controls, and audit compliance.
  9. Support the development and execution of the Oracle ERP/EPM roadmap aligned with enterprise and Finance objectives.
  10. Serve as a trusted technical advisor to Accounting, FP&A, and Finance leadership.

Key competencies
  1. Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle EPM (GL, AP, EPBCS, EDM, EPM Cloud).
  2. Experience supporting day-to-day production operations, access/security, configuration, and system stability.
  3. Proven ownership of Oracle Cloud upgrades, quarterly patches, and releases.
  4. Experience managing integrations and data flows between Oracle and external systems.
  5. Working knowledge of financial accounting, reporting, and FP&A processes.
  6. Ability to troubleshoot data, reconciliation, and reporting issues end to end.
  7. Experience overseeing outsourced support teams and managing SLAs.
  8. Strong understanding of change management, governance, controls, and audit requirements.
  9. Ability to translate Finance requirements into technical solutions.
  10. Prior exposure to PeopleSoft Financials or system transition environments is a plus.
  11. Effective communicator with Finance, Technology, and vendor partners.
