Job description

Description
Thought Logic Consulting is a functionally-led, digitally enabled consultancy that exists at the intersection of business transformation and technology innovation. We partner with clients to solve their most complex business problems and we do it in a highly collaborative, local-market approach, giving clients senior-level attention and giving our consultants room to grow, lead, and build.
The Role
We are looking to add an experienced Oracle EPM Managing Consultant to join our growing Enterprise Performance Management practice. In this role, you will lead the day-to-day delivery of Oracle EPM Cloud implementations, work directly with client stakeholders, and help translate complex finance and accounting needs into practical, scalable solutions.
You'll combine hands-on Oracle EPM expertise with strong consulting and project leadership skills. This person will also own significant project workstreams, guide and coach more junior team members, and help ensure our solutions deliver meaningful results for our clients.
This is an opportunity for a well rounded Oracle EPM professional to remain close to the work while taking on greater responsibility for solution design, client relationships, and team leadership.
What You'll Do
  • Lead Oracle EPM Cloud project workstreams from requirements gathering and solution design through configuration, testing, deployment, and post-production support
  • Work directly with finance, accounting, FP&A, and technology stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into effective Oracle EPM solutions
  • Design, configure, and enhance applications across Oracle EPM capabilities such as Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close, Account Reconciliation, Enterprise Data Management, and related tools
  • Provide functional and technical leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle
  • Develop business rules, calculations, reports, forms, workflows, integrations, and supporting application components
  • Manage workstream scope, timelines, deliverables, risks, and client expectations
  • Facilitate client workshops, requirements sessions, solution reviews, testing activities, and end-user training
  • Troubleshoot complex functional and technical issues and recommend practical solutions
  • Partner with project leaders to ensure solutions align with the client's finance processes, reporting needs, and long-term technology strategy
  • Guide and mentor consultants by providing coaching, feedback, and hands-on support
  • Contribute to project estimates, solution design discussions, proposals, and statements of work
  • Identify opportunities to improve or expand the solutions we provide to existing clients
  • Help develop reusable tools, methods, templates, and delivery best practices for the Oracle EPM practice
  • Stay current on Oracle EPM product capabilities and trends affecting finance organizations and the office of the CFO

Who You'll Work With
  • A collaborative team of Oracle EPM consultants focused on solving complex finance and performance-management challenges
  • Finance, accounting, FP&A, and technology leaders across a variety of industries
Project leaders and consultants across Thought Logic's Enterprise Performance Management, Data & Analytics, and Business Enablement practices
  • Client stakeholders who value practical guidance, strong communication, and consultants who remain accountable through implementation
  • Colleagues who prioritize curiosity, humility, collaboration, and hands-on problem-solving
  • A supportive environment where mentorship, ongoing learning, and professional growth are central to how we work

What You'll Bring
  • 7-12 years of professional experience delivering Oracle EPM, Hyperion, or related enterprise performance management solutions
  • Significant hands-on experience with one or more Oracle EPM Cloud applications, such as Planning, Financial Consolidation and Close, Account Reconciliation, Enterprise Data Management, or Profitability and Cost Management
  • Experience participating in or leading multiple Oracle EPM implementations
  • Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, consolidation, close, reporting, or account reconciliation processes
  • Experience across requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and production support
  • Ability to independently lead project workstreams and manage client deliverables
  • Experience developing business rules, reports, forms, workflows, integrations, or other Oracle EPM application components
  • Strong client-facing communication, facilitation, documentation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience mentoring or providing guidance to less-experienced consultants
  • Ability to balance hands-on delivery responsibilities with project leadership and client relationship management
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Ability to travel based on client and project needs
  • Ability to legally work for any employer in the United States without sponsorship
  • Oracle EPM Cloud certifications
  • Experience across multiple Oracle EPM Cloud applications
  • Experience with Oracle Data Integration, Data Management, EPM Automate, REST APIs, or related integration technologies
  • Familiarity with Oracle ERP Cloud or other adjacent Oracle technologies
  • Experience supporting finance transformation or EPM modernization programs
  • Experience contributing to proposals, project estimates, or statements of work
  • Experience developing reusable assets, delivery methods, or implementation accelerators
  • Previous consulting firm experience

Why Thought Logic
  • Work on transformations that matter, not slide decks that sit on shelves
  • Real responsibility and ownership over how work gets delivered and how clients experience us
  • The opportunity to lead meaningful Oracle EPM work while remaining close to the solution
  • Direct access to firm and practice leadership
  • A collaborative environment where strong consultants can influence how we deliver, grow, and improve
  • A culture that values depth over optics, outcomes over activity, and people over process
  • The chance to grow your career in a firm that's scaling thoughtfully and intentionally, not just chasing growth for growth's sake
