The Role 

Thought Logic is growing in Dallas, and we’re looking for a Business Development & Growth leader to help us build what comes next. 
As our first dedicated sales leader based in the Dallas market, you’ll play a critical role in expanding Thought Logic’s presence across DFW through net-new client acquisition, executive relationships and broader market development. This is a true growth role for someone who enjoys opening doors, building relationships and turning conversations into meaningful consulting opportunities. 
You’ll combine the entrepreneurial energy of building a market with the support of an established consulting firm and experienced practice leaders. You’ll work closely with our leaders and consultants to understand what clients are trying to accomplish, connect those needs to Thought Logic’s capabilities and lead opportunities from initial conversation through signed engagement. 
We’re looking for someone who knows the Dallas business community, has a track record of creating net-new opportunities and is excited by the opportunity to help shape how we grow in the market. 

What You’ll Do 

•  Build the Dallas market - Develop and execute a focused growth strategy across priority companies, industries and executive relationships throughout DFW. 
•  Create net-new opportunities - Proactively identify prospects, open doors and build relationships that lead to meaningful consulting engagements. 
•  Own the sales cycle - Lead opportunities from initial outreach and discovery through solution development, proposal, negotiation and signed engagement. 
•  Build a strong pipeline - Develop and maintain a healthy portfolio of qualified opportunities with clear account strategies, next steps and forecasts. 
•  Develop executive relationships - Build credibility with senior business and technology leaders by understanding their priorities, challenges and opportunities. 
•  Connect clients to the right capabilities - Bring together Thought Logic leaders and subject matter experts across Data & AI, Enterprise Performance Management, Business Enablement and our broader consulting portfolio to shape the right solution. 
•  Lead the pursuit - Serve as the commercial quarterback throughout the sales process, keeping opportunities moving and aligning the right people around each pursuit. 
•  Grow relationships over time - Stay connected after the initial sale, identify additional opportunities and help turn new clients into long-term Thought Logic relationships. 
•  Build our presence in the community - Represent Thought Logic across the Dallas business community through your network, industry relationships, events and other market-building activities. 
•  Help shape the playbook - Bring your perspective on where we should focus, how we should approach the market and what we need to do differently as our Dallas presence grows. 

Who You'll Work With
This role will have significant visibility across Thought Logic and will work closely with firm leadership, practice leaders and consulting teams. 
You’ll partner with our leaders to identify priority accounts, develop pursuit strategies and bring the right expertise into client conversations. As opportunities develop, you’ll work alongside our consultants and subject matter experts to translate client challenges into solutions that create meaningful business impact. 
You’ll also have the opportunity to influence how Thought Logic approaches growth in Dallas. We have an established firm, strong capabilities and experienced leaders behind you, but we’re looking for someone who wants to help build rather than simply inherit an existing sales machine.

What You'll Bring
  • 10+ years of business development, client development or sales experience, ideally within consulting, professional services or another complex services environment 
  • A demonstrated track record of originating, developing and closing net-new business 
  • Strong relationships and an established professional network within the Dallas-Fort Worth market 
  • Experience selling to senior executives and navigating complex organizations 
  • The ability to uncover business challenges, create demand and connect client needs to broader consulting capabilities 
  • Experience leading complex sales pursuits involving multiple stakeholders, solution leaders and decision-makers 
  • Strong commercial instincts with experience developing account strategies, managing pipeline and forecasting opportunities 
  • A consultative approach to selling and the credibility to engage with both business and technology executives 
  • The ability to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial environment where initiative, creativity and ownership matter 
  • A highly collaborative style and a belief that the best consulting sales happen when sales and delivery teams work together 
  • The drive to build something, not simply manage what already exists
