Job Summary

The Functional Consulting team is where the rubber truly meets the road between Prometheus Group and our clients. As a consultant, you will be responsible for delivering hands-on training of Prometheus solutions to the customer's end users, ensuring they are able to effectively apply the tools to their internal processes and EAM system. Our consultants are on the front line with customers delivering best-practices recommendations, reviewing their internal processes, and supporting efforts to document and roll-out new strategies to our customers' sites globally. In addition, our consultants play a key role in opportunity development, from recognizing additional training or consulting opportunities, to identifying needs for additional software licenses or products when on site, offering a unique perspective on the ground floor.

Consultants will be provided hands-on training of the Prometheus suite, along with unfettered access to the underlying EAM systems to learn the ins and outs of work processes, data management, and configuration controls to fully understand the ecosystem and how we can provide fit-for-purpose solutions for our customers training and consulting needs. As our Functional Consultants grow within their roles, opportunities will grow from initial roll-out trainings to collective customer care management to advanced process design and rollout projects. Our best consultants can build their own path with our clients and provide top-notch service through relationship building and high-quality work that results in greater opportunities to expand our consulting portfolio within the team.


Responsibilities

  • Train end users and super users on Prometheus Group software and functionality
  • Provide technical and functional expertise of Prometheus products and underlying EAMs
  • Perform business process assessments and propose business process and system configuration changes to enable best practices
  • Document customer interactions, including customer-facing details of findings, recommendations, and additional opportunities
  • Identify additional training and consulting opportunities with clients
  • Follow-up internally with other Prometheus employees for any hand-off details of opportunities, support needs, or other personnel working with the same clients


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a STEM field
  • Ability to travel 60-80% during the work week, with occasional weekend travel depending on the engagement requirements
  • Must be comfortable with public speaking, including leading training sessions, workshops, and presentations.


Preferred Experience

  • Experience with technical documentation and leading training sessions
  • Industrial facility occupations
  • Expertise in ERP or CMMS (SAP, Maximo, Oracle, JDE, etc.)
  • Experience in maintenance execution in industry
