Duration: Long term contract

Note: We need resources who had hands on experience into IAM development along with experience into OIM, OAAM. This resource would have to administer all the IAM components as well as need to work on development too.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) Developer to join our security engineering team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of IAM development, specifically with Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) and Oracle Adaptive Access Manager (OAAM). This role combines hands-on development with administrative responsibilities across the IAM ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement IAM solutions using Oracle IAM Suite (OIM, OAAM, etc.).
  • Develop custom connectors, scheduled tasks, event handlers, and workflows in Oracle Identity Manager.
  • Administer, maintain, and support all IAM components including OIM, OAAM, OAM, and related tools.
  • Configure and customize OAAM policies, rules, and challenges to enhance adaptive authentication.
  • Integrate IAM solutions with enterprise applications and systems.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot IAM infrastructure and services for performance, security, and availability.
  • Perform patching, upgrades, and backup activities for IAM systems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, configuration guides, and support procedures.
  • Collaborate with Security, DevOps, and IT teams to align IAM strategies with business requirements.
  • Participate in incident response and problem resolution related to IAM services.
  • Support audits and compliance assessments by providing relevant access control data and reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven 10+ years’ experience in Oracle IAM development and administration.
  • Strong hands-on expertise with Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) and Oracle Adaptive Access Manager (OAAM).
  • Experience developing custom connectors, workflows, and APIs within OIM.
  • Proficiency in Java/J2EE, XML, SPML, REST/SOAP web services.
  • Deep understanding of Identity Governance, Role Management, and Access Certification.
  • Knowledge of authentication mechanisms and protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC).
  • Experience with system administration, scripting (e.g., Shell, Python), and IAM monitoring tools.
  • Familiarity with integrating IAM with LDAP directories and enterprise SSO solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle certifications in IAM components (OIM/OAAM/OAM).
  • Experience with other IAM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, ForgeRock, Ping Identity) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA).
