Senior Oracle Functional role - GL and Budgetary Control (hybrid)

Job Summary:

NGI is seeking an experienced Oracle ERP Senior Functional Consultant with expertise in general ledger (GL) and budgetary control to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in implementing Oracle cloud ERP solutions, particularly in the areas of GL and budget management within the public sector. This role offers the opportunity to lead functional design efforts, collaborate with collaborate with stakeholders and drive the successful implementation to meet the needs of a public sector organization.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the functional design and configuration of Oracle cloud ERP, with a focus on general ledger (GL) and budgetary control modules
  • Gather and analyze business requirements, conduct workshops and interviews with stakeholders, and translate requirements into functional specifications and solution designs
  • Configure cloud ERP modules, workflows and processes to support general ledger accounting, budgetary control, and related activities
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define integration requirements and design solutions for integrating Oracle cloud ERP with third party applications and systems
  • Lead system testing activities, including test planning, test case development, and execution to ensure the quality and reliability of the configured solution
  • Act as a subject matter expert (SME) and trusted advisor to clients, providing recommendations, insights and guidance on optimizing the cloud ERP solution and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience as an Oracle ERP functional consultant, with at least 5 years focusing on public sector GL and budgetary control.
  • Extensive experience with Oracle cloud ERP and their General Ledger (GL), Budgetary Control and Financials, and their configurations
  • Strong knowledge of public sector accounting principles, budgeting processes, and regulatory requirements, including fund accounting, encumbrance accounting and fiscal reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business requirements and design practical and efficient solutions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders and team members at all levels
  • Experience leading functional design workshops, conducting requirements gathering sessions, and delivering presentations and demos to clients and stakeholders

Job Benefits:
