Job description

Diné Development Corporation (DDC) - Source is seeking a focused DevSecOps Oracle EBS Apps DBA to support a mission-critical U.S. Air Force program under the Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul Initiative (MROi). This role extends beyond traditional administration, integrating automation, security, and continuous compliance into the EBS lifecycle.
The ideal candidate combines deep Oracle EBS R12.2 expertise with modern DevSecOps practices, leveraging tools such as FlexDeploy/ConfigSnapshot to automate deployments, manage configurations, and maintain audit-ready environments across OCI, Exadata Cloud, Cloud One, and on-premise platforms.
Responsibilities
Core EBS Administration
  • Install, configure, clone, and maintain Oracle EBS R12.2 environments
  • Manage ADOP online patching cycles, upgrades, and system maintenance
  • Administer concurrent managers, workflows, and system configurations
  • Perform environment provisioning across Dev, Test, Training, and Production
  • Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and system optimization

DevSecOps & Automation
  • Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines for EBS CEMLIs (customizations and extensions)
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated provisioning (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
  • Integrate automated deployment orchestration using FlexDeploy, Jenkins, or GitLab CI
  • Embed security scanning (SAST/DAST) into build and deployment pipelines
  • Automate environment builds, patching cycles, and configuration promotion

Configuration Management
  • Utilize ConfigSnapshot to perform environment comparisons (Dev/Test/Prod diff analysis) to detect drift
  • Generate and maintain automated BR100/MD050 documentation
  • Migrate configurations selectively between environments without manual entry
  • Maintain centralized control of configurations across all EBS instances
  • Reduce human error through automated configuration promotion and validation

Security & Compliance
  • Enforce Segregation of Duties (SoD) and least-privilege access models
  • Implement and validate DISA STIGs and CIS benchmarks for Oracle environments
  • Ensure continuous compliance across DoD environments and audit requirements
  • Integrate automated code scanning tools (e.g., SonarQube, Checkmarx) for PL/SQL and OAF

Impact Analysis & Risk Reduction
  • Leverage ConfigSnapshot for pre-patch and upgrade impact analysis
  • Identification of affected CEMLIs and configurations
  • Analyze customizations for upgrade readiness and production risk mitigation
  • Support testing, benchmarking, and performance validation

Audit, Governance & Observability
  • Maintain 100% auditable traceability of system and configuration changes
  • Automate compliance reporting and configuration audits
  • Support monitoring via Oracle Enterprise Manager and logging frameworks
  • Provide documentation and reporting for government and audit stakeholders

Cloud & Platform Engineering
  • Support EBS workloads across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Exadata Cloud Services, and Cloud One / DISA environments
  • Assist with cloud migration, hybrid architecture, and automation strategies
  • Support RAC, ASM, RMAN, Data Guard architectures

Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Active Secret Clearance. U.S. Citizenship required
  • IAT Level II Certification (Security+ CE, CASP+ CE, CISSP, or equivalent)
  • 5-7+ years supporting Oracle EBS R12.2 environments
  • Strong experience with ADOP patching, cloning, and upgrades
  • Oracle DB (12c/19c), RAC, RMAN, ASM
  • Linux/Solaris administration
  • Experience in large-scale enterprise or DoD systems
  • CI/CD tools: FlexDeploy, Jenkins, GitLab CI
  • Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, Ansible
  • Code security scanning: SonarQube, Checkmarx
  • Experience integrating security into deployment pipelines
  • Environment comparison and drift detection across EBS pods
  • Automated documentation (BR100 / MD050 generation)
  • Selective configuration migration
