Job description

Oracle BICC SME Sr BICC Expert with Oracle Fusion Applications Knowledge
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Deep hands-on experience with BI Cloud Connector (BICC).
Strong Oracle Fusion Apps knowledge across Financials, HCM, SCM, FAH, and GL modules.
Experience with OCI Object Storage, OCI VM, and rclone.
Familiarity with AWS S3, Snowflake ingestion patterns, and basic SQL.
Need to have knowledge in Spark & Python
Roles & Responsibilities
1. BICC Extraction & Fusion Apps Integration
Configure and manage BICC extracts for Fusion modules such as Financials, HCM, Procurement, SCM, GL, FAH, PPM, etc.
Set up Full Extract and Incremental Extract jobs using LAST_UPDATE_DATE-based refresh logic
Identify required View Objects (VOs), validate VO schema attributes, and ensure schema-aware incremental loading.
2.Coordinate with Client Infra team to configure OCI Object Storage for BICC extract landing as required by Fusion SaaS and deploy and manage OCI Transfer VM. Implement rclone-based pull & push patterns (OCI AWS S3), including: Cron scheduling, MD5/SHA256 checksum verification
3.AWS S3 to Snowflake Data Movement Support (good to haveoptional)
Collaborate with Snowflake engineers on Snow pipe, COPY INTO, file format, and ingestion tuning, Ensure extracted CSV/Zipped files follow naming conventions suitable for automated ingestion.
4. Implement audit logging using: ESS Job Requests API, BICC Activity API, Manage OCI VM audit logs for rclone command execution.
5. Understand, discuss and review with Client Infra and networking team on networking options such as FastConnect + Direct Connect for secure, non-internet transfers.
6. Troubleshoot extract failures, schema changes, Fusion updates, or missing LAST_UPDATE_DATE fields.
