Position: Oracle EPM Cloud FCCS Specialist

Location: Plano, TX (Possible Hybrid)

Duration: FTE/Fulltime Employment

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle EPM FCCS Specialist to support our finance transformation initiatives. The contractor will be responsible for designing, configuring, and optimizing Oracle FCCS solutions to support consolidation, close, and reporting processes. This role requires a strong mix of technical expertise, business acumen, and hands-on experience with Oracle’s EPM Cloud suite.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, build, and deployment of Oracle FCCS applications to support financial consolidation and close cycles.
  • Configure metadata, dimensions, rules, calculations, and data integrations in FCCS.
  • Develop and maintain financial reporting solutions (FR/Management Reports, Smart View, dashboards).
  • Collaborate with finance, accounting, and IT stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional FCCS solutions.
  • Support data integration from ERP, GL, and other source systems into FCCS.
  • Ensure system alignment with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and internal reporting requirements.
  • Provide testing, training, and documentation for end users.
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide post-implementation support as needed.
  • Recommend best practices and process improvements for consolidation and close.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in Oracle EPM Cloud – FCCS implementation and support (minimum [10] years).
  • Strong understanding of financial close, consolidation, and reporting processes.
  • Hands-on expertise in FCCS metadata, rules, calculations, and data mappings.
  • Experience with data integration tools (Data Management, Data Integration, EPM Automate, or FDMEE).
  • Knowledge of financial reporting tools (Management Reports, Smart View, FR).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial consolidation concepts (intercompany eliminations, currency translation, journal adjustments).
  • Excellent problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently as a contractor/consultant.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Oracle EPM Cloud certification(s) in FCCS or related modules.
  • Experience with other Oracle EPM modules (Planning, ARCS, EDMCS).
  • Background in consulting or project-based work.
  • CPA, CMA, or finance/accounting background is a plus.
