  • Develop ad hoc queries and scripts to support investigations, reporting, reconciliation, data correction, and operational requests
  • Maintain and enhance PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, triggers, batch jobs, and database interfaces
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain data feeds involving Oracle, Apache NiFi, AWS endpoints, APIs, files, and connected applications
  • Investigate failed or incomplete data flows and coordinate resolution across database, integration, application, and infrastructure teams
  • Perform data validation and root-cause analysis to identify discrepancies between source and target systems
  • Support application releases, database deployments, production incidents, and post-deployment validation
  • Tune SQL and PL/SQL workloads to improve performance, scalability, and reliability
  • Partner with Oracle DBAs on database configuration, RAC, recovery, Data Guard, security, performance, and environment-related issues
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, support procedures, deployment instructions, troubleshooting guides, and operational runbooks
Requirements
  • TS/SCI FSP Clearance
  • 10+ years of experience developing and supporting enterprise solutions using Oracle Database, including Oracle 10g through current versions
  • Advanced expertise in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, including packages, procedures, functions, triggers, views, materialized views, dynamic SQL, collections, bulk processing, exception handling, and database APIs
  • Extensive experience debugging and troubleshooting complex SQL and PL/SQL code in development, test, and production environments
  • Demonstrated ability to:
    • Analyze existing database code and business logic
    • Identify defects, data issues, and performance bottlenecks
    • Rewrite, refactor, and optimize existing scripts
    • Develop and maintain operational and production-support scripts
    • Create ad hoc queries for data analysis, reporting, reconciliation, validation, and issue resolution
  • Strong experience maintaining and supporting data feeds and system integrations, including:
    • Apache NiFi data flows and endpoints
    • AWS services, interfaces, and endpoints
    • APIs and service-based integrations
    • File-based data transfers and batch interfaces
    • Upstream and downstream application dependencies
    • Data validation, reconciliation, exception handling, and feed monitoring
  • Experience diagnosing data-feed and integration failures by tracing issues across database objects, PL/SQL processes, NiFi flows, AWS endpoints, files, APIs, and dependent systems
  • Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL performance tuning, including execution-plan analysis, optimizer statistics, indexing, partitioning, query optimization, locking, concurrency, and wait-event analysis
  • Experience using Oracle diagnostic and performance tools such as AWR, ASH, ADDM, SQL Trace, TKPROF, and Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control
  • Experience supporting high-volume data processing, batch jobs, ETL workflows, data conversion, data migration, and data-reconciliation processes
  • Working knowledge of database application design, data modeling, schema development, and database object management sufficient to maintain and enhance scalable, reliable database solutions
  • Experience deploying SQL, PL/SQL, schema, and configuration changes through structured development, testing, validation, and production-release processes
  • Familiarity with source control, code review, release documentation, rollback planning, and automated or repeatable database deployment practices
