Job Description:
Moving from Oracle to MySQL database environment so this person need to have a good understanding of both MySQL, Oracle and ETL. The DBA and a SQL developer together will be creating data models and structures, building the new DB environment and handling all the data migration work.
SQL DBA needed for this project.
• Strong knowledge of Database/SQL performance tuning and monitoring.
• Set up and maintain database infrastructure for the company's business needs
• Perform database administration tasks, including automation, performance monitoring and tuning, and query optimization
• Work with infrastructure engineers, developers, and architects to ensure performance and scalability of applications
• Work with security and operations to manage access control to databases
• Plan and provide operational oversight in database migrations with minimal impact to customers
• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving database integrity issues, performance issues, blocking and deadlocking issues, replication issues, log shipping issues, connectivity issues, security issues etc.
