Tuknik Government Services, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a highly skilled and certified Cloud Architect with deep expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and handsโ€‘on experience across multi-cloud environments including Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and Oracle Cloud. The ideal candidate will design, deploy, and secure scalable cloud solutions that support federal missions and comply with FISMA Moderate/High, FedRAMP, and NIST standards. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced cloud technologies, automation frameworks, and AIโ€‘driven tools while contributing to missionโ€‘critical modernization initiatives. The Cloud Architect will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and optimizing secure and resilient cloud environments, with a primary focus on AWS. The role includes designing multiโ€‘tier applications, leading cloud migration efforts, ensuring federal compliance, and integrating automation and AI/ML capabilities into cloud operations. The Cloud Architect will collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, DevOps, and program teams to deliver modern, scalable, and compliant cloud solutions for federal customers. Key responsibilities include: Cloud Architecture & Engineering * Architect and implement secure, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions primarily on AWS, with integration across Azure, GCP, and Oracle Cloud. * Design and deploy multiโ€‘tier, faultโ€‘tolerant applications using cloudโ€‘native services. * Lead and coโ€‘design cloud migration efforts from legacy systems to modern cloud platforms. * Develop enterprise cloud reference architectures, standards, and reusable patterns. * Integrate AI/ML capabilities and automation into cloud operations to enhance efficiency and scalability. DevOps, Automation & IaC * Collaborate with DevOps teams to enable CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments. * Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar tools. * Automate provisioning, configuration management, and cloud operations. Education and Experience: * Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (Master's preferred). * 5+ years of handsโ€‘on cloud architecture experience, with a strong focus on AWS. * Proven experience in multi-cloud environments (Azure, GCP, Oracle). * Experience supporting U.S. Federal agencies and securing FISMA Moderate/High systems. * Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, Bash, or OpenTofu. * Experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and Git. Required Skills and Competencies: * Deep understanding of AWS cloud architecture, cloudโ€‘native services, and best practices. * Strong knowledge of cloud security frameworks and federal compliance requirements. * Handsโ€‘on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible). * Ability to design scalable, faultโ€‘tolerant, and secure cloud architectures. * Strong understanding of cloud networking, identity management, encryption, and monitoring.
