Position Overview

The Oracle Cloud Developer role is responsible to design and develop technical solutions within Oracle Cloud suite of technology products. Cloud developer will be responsible for writing SQL queries and engage in designing the most effective Oracle reports within the BI platform.This role will also be working with Functional analysts assisting them in providing the necessary technical help to provide a complete end to end integrated solutions within Oracle cloud platform.

Essential Job Functions

  • Be able to understand the business requirements by working with Functional analysts to develop various technical deliverables in Oracle cloud.
  • Be able to work on dashboard/Analytics tools within Oracle cloud to support business for various reporting needs.
  • To work closely with the respective functional leads to understand their business objectives and processes, suggest optimal technical solutions to increase impact, effectiveness, and efficiency.
  • Be able to work on different technologies within Oracle cloud - OIC (Integration platform), low code development platform like VBCS and other developer tools like APEX to provide various offerings for business needs.
  • Able to work on the latest AI technologies in Oracle and implement it to gain business efficiency.
  • Document technical design specifications for each technical deliverable released in Oracle cloud.
  • Be able to partner with third party vendor teams and other Shockwave Technical architects to work in a collaborative workspace.
Qualifications - External
  • Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Computer / Software Engineering or equivalent preferred)
  • 8+ years of experience working in an technical space specific to Oracle applications.
  • 6+ years of experience working with Oracle ERP (EBS/Cloud) in technical development.
  • Strong experience with BI/OTBI Report development.
  • Experience working on developer tools, low code platform and Oracle Integration platform (OIC).
  • Experience in integrating Oracle cloud application with other peripheral systems through OIC.
  • Well experienced in documentation and understand business requirements to translate to technical jargon and provide granular details related to technical flow in the documents.
  • Experience with implementing EDI integration with third party applications.
  • Experience in implementing REST/SOAP based API/Web Services integration.
  • Strong foundation on security protocols/data security, encryption etc.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
  • Continuous Improvement mindset with superior analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additional Information:

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $86,000 to $138,600 annually.
  • The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.
  • Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance.
  • Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).

    • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year
