Job Summary:
Stanford University IT is dedicated to enhancing the institution's capabilities through technology. They are seeking an Oracle Cloud Reports Developer to join their Data Analytics & Reporting team, responsible for designing and developing scalable reporting solutions to facilitate enterprise decision-making.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using OTBI, BI Publisher, and Fusion Data Intelligence.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate reporting requirements into technical specifications.
• Build custom data models, subject areas, and data visualizations to support self-service analytics.
• Optimize report performance and troubleshoot issues related to data accuracy and system integration.
• Assist in data validation, quality assurance, and system testing for new releases and patches.
• Provide end-user training and documentation for reports, dashboards, and self-service tools.
• Partner with functional teams to ensure data alignment with business processes.
• Support data governance initiatives and promote best practices for secure, compliant reporting.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Hands-on experience with OTBI, BI Publisher, and Fusion Data Intelligence/Fusion Analytics Warehouse.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and understanding of relational data models.
• Familiarity with Oracle Cloud subject areas and metadata layers.
• Understanding of data security models and role-based access in Oracle Cloud.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with BI Publisher.
• Experience with HCM Extracts HDLs.
• Experience with Spreadsheet loaders Data Mapping.
• Experience with Data Transformation.
• Experience with Data Modeling.
• Experience with Oracle HCM & EBS Cloud modules.
• Experience with Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI).
• Bachelor’s degree and seven years of relevant experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• 3+ years of working experience with Oracle Cloud Applications (HCM, EBS is a must).
• 5+ years of experience working with Oracle databases and Oracle applications.
Preferred:
• Experience with Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI) / Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) implementation and customization.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, OData connectors, or other integration techniques.
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. OAS DV, Tableau) for cross-platform reporting.
• Understanding of Oracle Cloud architecture and update cycles.
• Knowledge of Agile or iterative development methodologies.
• Oracle Cloud certification(s) in reporting, analytics, or related areas.
