Job SummaryThe Oracle Middleware Administrator is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of Oracle middleware environments. This role involves managing Oracle Application Server, Oracle Internet Directory (OID), and related technologies while ensuring system performance, security, and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, maintain, upgrade, and patch Oracle Application Server (10g/11g), including Oracle Portal and Discoverer
Administer Oracle Internet Directory (OID) and integrate with Active Directory
Troubleshoot Oracle Application Servers and database-related issues
Perform database administration tasks in an AIX environment
Maintain and support IBM AIX systems (version 6.1 or higher)
Ensure systems comply with HIPAA security and data protection requirements
Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Informatica PowerCenter and ETL mappings
Support Oracle database upgrades and migrations
Administer Oracle OBIEE and convert Oracle Discoverer reports to OBIEE
Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of middleware services
Required Qualifications7+ years of experience installing, configuring, upgrading, and supporting Oracle Application Server (10g/11g)
7+ years of experience with Oracle Internet Directory (OID) and Active Directory integration
7+ years of experience troubleshooting Oracle Application Servers and databases
4+ years of experience with database administration in an AIX environment
4+ years of experience working with IBM AIX 6.1 or higher
4+ years of experience ensuring HIPAA compliance and secure data handling
2+ years of experience administering Informatica PowerCenter and ETL processes
2+ years of experience with Oracle database upgrades and migrations
2+ years of experience administering Oracle OBIEE and report conversion
