Oracle PL/SQL development, Oracle Database / SQL & Oracle Retail or Oracle Cloud Database
• Job Location - New Albany, Ohio (preferred on-site)
• Hybrid/Remote - Hybrid, preferred on-site Tuesday-Thursday
US/Nearshore/Offshore - US based
• Working hours - 9-5pm EST

Position Summary:
Abercrombie & Fitch is seeking an experienced PL/SQL Developer to design, develop, test, and support 
complex Oracle database programs and enterprise application components. This role will help maintain 
and enhance database packages, procedures, functions, and supporting documentation while partnering 
with technology teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and standards-compliant solutions. The ideal 
candidate brings strong Oracle PL/SQL development experience, a collaborative work style, and 
familiarity with Oracle Retail or Oracle Cloud database environments.
Key Responsibilities
 Design, develop, and test complex database programs in PL/SQL. 
 Inspect, analyze, and document current functionality in packages, functions, and 
procedures. 
 Ensure database programs are written correctly and comply with current development 
standards. 
 Performance tune SQL statements and application programs. 
 Provide technical assistance, problem resolution, and troubleshooting support. 
 Create and maintain technical documentation. 
 Support Oracle Cloud Database and Oracle Retail product suite environments where 
applicable. 
 Actively participate in Agile ceremonies as part of the Scrum Team.
Required Qualifications
 3-5 years of experience in an application development environment. 
 Strong Oracle PL/SQL development experience. 
 Experience with all phases of the software development life cycle, including analysis, 
design, unit testing, system testing, deployment, and production support. 
 Experience with Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, or equivalent database development 
tools. 
 Oracle Retail experience preferred. 
 Experience with Oracle Forms preferred. 
 Basic GitLab and SVN knowledge. 
 Introductory knowledge of Agile methodology and Jira. 
 Excellent listening, verbal, written communication, reporting, and presentation skills. 
 Strong organizational and time management skills. 
 Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively both independently and in a 
team environment.
