Roles and Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain Oracle PL/SQL applications, database objects, and business logic.
  • Develop and maintain packages, procedures, functions, triggers, and complex SQL queries.
  • Perform SQL query optimization and performance tuning to improve database application performance.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective database solutions.
  • Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, development, unit testing, system testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database, application, and production issues.
  • Perform code reviews, testing, debugging, and performance analysis.
  • Use Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, or equivalent database development tools for development and troubleshooting.
  • Manage database development code using GitLab, SVN, or similar version control systems.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, development standards, and support procedures.
  • Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, QA teams, and other technical stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
