Job description

# OQ Evaluator – NCCER / Oil & Gas Pipeline Operations

**Location:** Pasadena, Texas

**Job Type:** Full-Time

**Schedule:** Minimum 40 hours weekly

**Travel:** opportunity to travel for additional compensation opportunities

## Position Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced OQ Evaluator to support oil & gas and pipeline operations primarily in the Pasadena, Texas area. Candidates should possess strong field experience and knowledge of Operator Qualifications (OQs), with the ability to evaluate personnel safely and effectively in accordance with industry standards.

NCCER Evaluator credentials are preferred; however, candidates with extensive Oil & Gas and Pipeline OQ experience will also be considered.

## Minimum Qualifications

* Minimum of **5 years of experience** in the Oil & Gas and/or Pipeline industry

* Experience with **Pipeline Operator Qualifications (OQs)**

* Strong understanding of safety procedures and field operations

* Ability to travel as needed for additional project opportunities( optional)

* Reliable transportation and ability to work full-time hours

## Required Experience

Candidates must have experience in the following areas:

* Abnormal Operating Conditions (AOCs)

* Flange Bolting

* Pipe Threading

* Excavation and Backfilling

## Preferred Qualifications

* NCCER Evaluator Certification

* Coating experience is a plus

* Prior experience conducting field evaluations and audits

* Strong communication and documentation skills

## Compensation & Benefits

* Steady work with a minimum of 40 hours per week

## Work Location

Primary work will be based in Pasadena, Texas, with opportunities for travel-based assignments as needed.
