Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for transforming complex data into strategic insights? We are seeking a dynamic LNG Business Analyst to support high-stakes projects in the thriving energy sector. Based in Houston with opportunities to travel to project sites in Freeport, TX, this long-term contract position offers the chance to play a pivotal role in shaping innovative LNG initiatives, with potential for full-time conversion after six months. If you thrive in fast-paced, regulated environments and possess a knack for project management and analysis, this is your moment to make a significant impact.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
  • Relevant Expertise: At least 5 years of experience in project management, project controls, engineering, or business analysis within the LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, or energy industries.
  • Technical Skills: Strong data collection, validation, and analysis capabilities; proficiency in tracking project scope, cost, schedule, and key performance indicators.
  • Communication & Coordination: Exceptional ability to prepare concise reports, dashboards, presentations, and manage stakeholder communications effectively.
  • Tools & Systems: Experience supporting project schedules, risk and opportunity registers, governance activities, and contract/financial tracking.
  • Regulatory Acumen: Familiarity with FERC, PHMSA, and LNG-specific regulations is advantageous.

Nice to Have:
  • Experience supporting executive management during all phases of greenfield or brownfield projects.
  • Knowledge of operating-facility interfaces, Management of Change, stage-gate governance.
  • Familiarity with safety and compliance standards relevant to industrial and energy facilities.

Preferred Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 5+ years in project support roles within regulated facilities, with up to 10 years encouraged to apply.

Additional Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to project sites and vendor locations.
  • Ability to work in an office environment and support site visits while adhering to safety protocols.
