Job description

Pharmacy Technician

Position Location: 15529 College Blvd Lenexa, KS 66219

Position Schedule: Monday through Friday - 8-hour shifts between the hours of 9:00am-6:30pm

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with ordering, receiving, counting, and maintaining inventory
  • Unpack and ensure proper placement of received inventory according to storage and/or refrigeration requirements
  • Accurately gathers medications and supplies according to specifications of compounding record
  • Label prepared compounded sterile products
  • Assist with cleaning of pharmacy prep area and sterile product complex, including required monthly cleaning of cleanroom environment
  • Sanitizing prepares medications and supplies for entry into cleanroom environment
  • Restock pharmacy and cleanroom supplies
  • Organize medication orders to prepare for production
  • Package and label prepared medication orders, issuing drug, related supplies, and education materials are included
  • Prepare and scan compounding record documentation

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 3+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license or registration in the state of Kansas
  • 1+ years of experience with computers and MS Office products
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift 30 lbs
  • Ability to work onsite at 15529 College Blvd Lenexa, KS 66219, Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00am-6:00pm

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
  • Has previously worked or is currently working as a contractor placed at UHG or one of its subsidiaries or affiliates

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $16.15 to $28.80 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
