Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and prepare specimens for lab testing, ensuring accurate labeling and documentation in compliance with established standards.
  • Administer medications and perform minor procedures under the supervision of the physician, prioritizing patient safety and adhering to treatment protocols.
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests including blood pressure assessments, urinalysis, blood glucose monitoring, and Electrocardiograms (EKGs), ensuring accurate recording and documentation of results.
  • Educate patients on medication usage and general health practices, fostering understanding and encouraging patient engagement in their healthcare.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of examination rooms and supply areas to create a welcoming and efficient environment for both patients and staff.
